iMEE presents soMi DANCE FEST at the Mandelstam Theater in South Miami, FL on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 8PM. soMi DANCE FEST will showcase the technical & artistic prowess of three select South Florida dance companies: iMEE, Dimensions Dance Theatre of Miami & Pioneer Winter Collective.
On one sweet South Miami night in January, three dance companies will unite under the stars to present the community with an eclectic and moving evening of contemporary dance & dance theater. On January 13 & 14, 2018, the festival will also provide community dancers with a studio to stage experience during our soMi master class series with the directors and choreographers from each participating dance company.
As with any new initiative there are anticipated & unforeseen costs... and that's where your generous, art-loving, dance-loving hearts come in. iMEE seeks assistance with festival operational costs: marketing, theater costs (liability insurance, janitorial services, parking permits, parking attendants, ticket collection fees, front of house /theater staff) archival videography & photography and catering for dancers.
As we close on the month of giving and embark upon end of the year giving... we ask that you consider supporting our inaugural, contemporary dance festival in South Miami. We ask that you please support our diverse collection of high quality, thought-provoking dance companies & artists from South Florida. Support & celebrate local art and our ever-evolving dance community. WE would appreciate your vote of confidence as we embark upon our newest endeavor!
