So Will I

This year is different people. Not only am I going on my annual trip to Nicaragua, but living with a pastor and his family in Honduras for a month. One of my college pastors, James Lewis, pushed me to really look into what a life in the mission’s field would look like. This is something I have been involved with since I was 13, but I have never been on a trip longer than 10 days. I found a church in La Esperanza, Honduras that Community Bible Church had built. While down there, I hope to spread God’s love, do a few feedings, art classes, and bring El Dia de Princesa to the people of La Esperanza! Their culture is extremely similar to that of Nicaragua, where makeup and painting nails is frowned upon and looked at as sinful. Women are oppressed, human trafficking is present. Humanity is devalued and self worth comes into question for so many of these people.  All funds will be used for travel expenses, lodging and activities for the community. If you feel lead, donate anything! It all is helpful. You can even choose where you would like your money to be spent, and I'll put it towards that.
