Many people have been asking how they can help Derek, Alexandria, and their new beautiful twins, Cameron and Caroline.
Derek and Alex were blessed with these two sweeties on August 10th, 2017. As some of you may know after Cameron and Caroline were born they were struggling a bit with breathing. Caroline has since recovered and has been discharged from the hospital.
Cameron on the other hand has had a rougher time and more medical issues surfaced over the next few days and weeks. He was most recently diagnosed with Hirschsprung Disease and they were told it may be able to be fixed with surgery. During his surgery they found the extent of his medical condition goes beyond a simple fix. Derek and Alex are now left heartbroken and unsure of what is to come next.
Derek and Alex have both spent countless hours at the hospital with their baby boy but live an hour away so on top of medical expenses they have also had to deal with travel expenses as well as the time they have had to take away from their jobs.
We created this fundraiser to help alleviate some of theses financial stresses Alex and Derek are going through due to this devastating situation, so that they can focus all their time and attention on their babies.
They both want to thank everyone for all the love and support everyone has shown.
