️ Snowdon Hike for Swat & Buner Flood Victims
Salaam / Hi everyone,
My name is Abu Baker Hameed (known as AB Mughal). I am a proud South Asian British sportsman and the Co-Founder of TABS Youth Sports Club Bradford, which I have been part of running since 2014 to inspire and coach young people in our community.
This weekend , I will be taking on the challenge of climbing Mount Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa), the highest mountain in Wales, United Kingdom.
I am dedicating this hike to raise urgent funds for the victims of the recent devastating floods in Swat and Buner, Pakistan.
Hundreds of families have lost their homes, crops, and loved ones. Many are left with nothing and are in desperate need of food, shelter, and medical support.
Why this fundraiser is unique
Our very own Bradford brother and cricket fellow, Mr. Kamran Bacha, who plays for TABS Cricket Club, is already on the ground in Swat.
On Sunday 24th August 2025, he personally visited affected families, delivered aid, and assessed their urgent needs.
This means every penny raised will go directly into immediate relief, with no delays or middle steps. Kamran will ensure funds are used for essentials such as food packs, shelter, and medical help for those most in need.
How you can help
• Donate whatever you can — no amount is too small.
• Share this fundraiser with friends, family, and community groups.
• Keep the families of Swat and Buner in your duas (prayers).
As someone deeply connected to both Bradford , UK and Pakistan, I want this challenge to be more than just a personal climb — it’s about standing together in solidarity with families who are fighting to rebuild their lives.
Together, let’s turn this Snowdon challenge into hope, relief, and dignity for those suffering in Swat and Buner. ❤️
Thank you for your support,
AB Mughal
