Snowdon climb for Lisa x

Our lovely Lisa, a wonderful friend, beautiful daughter, brilliant sister, selfless mother to 2 boys, an amazing wife and all round incredible human was diagnosed in August 2020 with a rare and aggressive form of breast cancer, otherwise known as Triple Negative Breast Cancer, which has spread to her lymph nodes.
Lisa is in an inspiration to us all, she has shown such brilliant courage, strength and positivity since her diagnosis, and is facing this devastating news head on. On top of her cancer diagnosis, Lisa's little boy recently started primary school, she is going back to work from her 2nd maternity, and her house is currently a building site for a kitchen extension...in the middle of a global pandemic - just writing this makes my blood pressure rise!
And that's where we come in...with plenty going on and now cancer to deal with, we, or 32 of her family, friends and work colleagues, want to help in any way that we can - so we've decided to take on Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales! We want to raise money to give to Lisa at this difficult time, to help her in any way that it can, whether thats buying wigs, or whatever might make this situation a little easier for her and her family. We're making it more difficult by climbing Snowdon on Saturday 24th October for sunrise....meaning a set off in pitch black and in the early hours!
Cancer is devastating news to receive and effects so many of us - it has only just been 2 years since Lisa lost her Dad to Myeloma, which makes this situation even more profound.
