Lulu’s Road to Recovery

While my boyfriend,(Dean), and I went to go let my Grandmas dogs out while they were on vacation, we left our 7 month old puppy at home with Deans older brother. We were gone for about 15 minutes when I get a call from Deans mom telling me the horrific news. Our baby Lulu slipped out the door and ran straight to 72nd, and was hit by a car. The driver did not stop and continued to drive away. At this point in time, Lulu is at the Sumner Vetrinary Hospital. Although Lulu does not have any broken bones, she is suffering with a Pulmonary contusion in her lungs, which means her lungs are extremely bruised and are bleeding. As of right now they are just trying to get her stabilized and comfortable. While we will do everything in our power to save her, the hospital is very expensive and we are looking at 1,500 a night, at least. Lulu has been such a blessing and bundle of sunshine in our world and I hope to be able to save her. Please pray for her recovery, and everything counts.
