<div>I’m a British actor and writer based in New York, and this summer my new play Snazzy has been accepted into the New York Theatre Festival.

<div>The play tells the true story of my parents and the early years that led to the creation of Snazaroo in the 1980s. It’s a story about creativity, risk, partnership, and building something from nothing — and it’s deeply personal to me.

<div>While the festival isn’t charging a participation fee, producing the show still comes with real costs: rehearsal space in NYC, stipends for our actors, director, stage manager, and crew, and basic production needs.

</div>

<div>I’m raising $5,000 to help cover those costs and ensure that the artists involved are paid for their time and work.
