SNAP & EBT Machine Fundraising

At Hill Family Farm, we are committed to not only building relationships with farmers & folks in our community, but we are also deeply invested in making sure that ALL people have access to fresh, healthy, and good food. So we are taking our farm to the next level, and we're excited to announce that we are now EBT & SNAP certified!! However, we are stunned by the cost of the operating machine -- $500! We decided that we won't let the cost of the machine stop us from our goal, which also means that we are presenting this opportunity, to you, our customers and friends, to help us make this dream achievable. We are hoping to raise $500 to cover the cost of the machine; any additional costs from this fundraising project, every single penny, will go directly back into the farm and our customers. 

This purchase will help us provide our community with the following: We will be willing to travel all throughout the Sumner County area to share with different groups, e.g., church groups, nonprofit organizations, schools, and etc., about the benefits of the SNAP/EBT program and its beneficial partnership with farmers and the community. We will provide outreach, including the future potential to provide food to the different areas in Sumner County that qualify as "food deserts." And we're hoping to collaborate, with as many farmers and food vendors as possible, to help bring awareness and encourage participation in this program. At the end of the day, we don't hope that only we make it, we hope that all people flourish in their businesses, that all people have access to wholesome food, and that we, as a community, can join together to make this vision a reality!
