Snacks for Superheroes

Hello, my name Griffin Smolar and I am a junior at Montville Township High School as well as a cadet (member under 18) on the Montville First Aid Squad. Because of the unfolding situation, all cadet shifts have been canceled. Since shifts were canceled, I, like most people, have been feeling particularly helpless during this crazy COVID-19 situation. So, I started thinking about what I could do to help. I emailed nearby hospitals and asked what they needed. They replied with many ideas, and while my family will be doing those as well, this idea seemed it would be the most helpful and realistic. I decided to call this idea "Snacks For Superheros" to show how much we love our heroes in the hospital. I will be buying things like bottles of water and other pre-packaged snacks, wiping them down, and delivering them to our heroes in the ER and ICU. But, I can't do it alone. I need your help to make it happen. If you have been trying to come up with ways you could help but haven't been able to think of any, this is a valuable way for you to get involved and help your community. With your donation, you will be making the lives of those fantastic ICU and ER staff just the slightest bit easier, and I guarantee it will put a smile on their face. This is a continuous effort so please tell your friends and family to donate to this cause and share this page with everyone you know! Since I am not 18, I cannot legally withdraw the money, so I have invited my Dad to have access so he will be able to withdraw the donations and then we all do the rest. With the exception of Gofundme fees, 100% of the money donated goes to this cause. Any amount helps! Also, with every donation you make, please write out a short note for someone working in the hospital on fighting this virus and tell them how thankful you are for all of the work they do!
