Justice for Jai

On the night of June 1, 2020, my childhood friend Jai was protesting in Downtown Naperville when he was stabbed. Jai witnessed an altercation between a group of men and a child. Jai intervened and one of the men came from behind and stabbed him in the abdomen. A woman at the scene stated that she "witnessed a young black man get stabbed because he was trying to keep the peace by telling a group of looters to stop. The group of looters stabbed him and ran."

Jai is now facing insurmountable medical bills. He is currently in the hospital and will remain there for at least a week. We are asking for support in helping Jai with these medical bills.
