SMOY Audio Visual Equipment Fund

Update: Thank you to everyone who helped us reach our initial goal! Your generosity is so greatly appreciated.

We will keep the campaign open over the weekend for anyone else who would like to contribute. All additional funds will go toward future improvements to the audio and visual systems.

In December, 2016 SMOY replaced it's outdated and failing sound system in the sanctuary. The new sound system is an exciting upgrade, allowing the parish community to fully enjoy and appreciate the efforts of the talented musicians that enhance the weekly celebration of Mass and other events at the church.

The old system included auxilary capabilites that allowed the recording of homilies. These recordings were archived so they could be revisited and shared with our SMOY family and neighbors. We would like to restore that capability and integrate it into the new audio system. This capability requires several new pieces of equipment and software that was not a part of the initial installation. The estimated cost of adding this capability is $1,500.
