F*CK CANCER: Smitty’s Fight

Donation protected
Those who have had the pleasure of knowing my father, Stephen Smith, know that he is an extremely selfless man. His entire life, he has put everyone else before himself. My sister and I have never gone a day in our lives without knowing how loved and protected we are by our dad. He's the guy you call when you need to get out of a bind (no questions asked) and the one you go to when you need a piece of life advice. While growing up, my friends called him their second dad and always told me how lucky I was to have a father like him. I couldn't agree more. He is a hilarious man, a loyal friend and a devoted father. But most importantly, he is a fighter.

After weeks of stomach pain and jaundice, my father went to the hospital. On November 11th, 2017, doctors discovered a tumour the size of a golf ball in my father’s pancreas. On the 16th, a stent was put in to relieve some of the pain and bring him back to his regular colour. On November 22nd, he was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Small tumours have spread throughout my dad’s body including the pancreas, stomach lining, liver, gallbladder, bowel etc and doctor’s have given him roughly 6 months to live. If you know Steve, you’ll know that he won’t take that as an answer. To put it simply, my father has planned to fight his cancer with all he has.

After watching the story of Wallace Rose, my father was inspired to take the natural approach for his healing. Everyday, my dad will need to take 3-4 grams of Phoenix Tears - a non hallucinogenic cannabis oil that has been proven to eliminate and prevent cancerous tumours from spreading. However, each 3ml vile of Phoenix Tears cost approximately $55 each. After 3 months of taking 3ml of Phoenix Tears a day, Wallace Rose’s Cancer was nearly gone. So my dad will be spending roughly $1600 a month just on the Tears. Along with the Phoenix Tears, he will be drinking Chaga tea, taking organic vitamins (Spirulina, Stem-Kine and Microhydrin) and participating in cancer treatments offered by the hospital. So it will not be a low cost journey for him...

With dad not working and only collecting disability, money’s tight. But please, don’t feel pressured to give. Even a text or a phone call to my dad will help make him fight a little more each day :)

If my father’s cancer cannot be beat, we sincerely hope this will extend the time he has left with his friends and family.

Lots of love,
Julia Smith
