Smith Fundraiser

In the wake of Kevin's death, it seems that everyone who knows the Smith family wants to help in some way. The way we can help the most now is to take away some of Aimee's worry associated with how expensive life can be. 

While Aimee was not enthusiastic about letting us set up this fundraiser, telling us that everyone had already done so much, we pushed to get her permission to put together one additional fundraising campaign to provide some security for her, Tyler, Ben, Ian, and Aynsley. She very reluctantly agreed. The costs of raising 4 kids as they navigate through school and college is something many of us are all too familiar with... Having lost the family's main breadwinner, it is just not possible for Aimee to preserve their status quo without some assistance, and we know her entire Huntington Woods network, in particular, wants her to stay right where she is! Kevin's employer has assisted by providing health insurance for the family for one year, but time moves on and Aimee will be responsible for securing insurance beginning next year, on top of the always climbing costs of ushering 4 kids through school/college. The help we provide can make a huge difference in the Smiths' lives over the next several years. 

We are setting a fundraising goal of $75,000+ and will leave this site open for the next 6 months. This way, people will have the flexibility to make a contribution at an opportune time, and also have the option of donating multiple times throughout the next several months. Over 250 people came together to raise $30,000 for Kevin's medical expenses in December of 2017, so we're hopeful that this long-term fundraiser will be just as wildly successful.
