Smith Fire Fund

Chris, Kelsea, Maizy and Benjamin suffered a house fire on Thursday June 1, 2017. They are safe. The house is not a total loss but the entire home has suffered major smoke damage, the kitchen is completely gone and they literally had to leave with the clothes they had on, and leave everything else. They will have to remain out of the home for up to three months. Although insurance covers the property damage they still have a deductible and will need to replace almost all their personal belongings either through a chemical treatment to remove soot, or buy new items to replace the damaged ones. Maizys toys, Bens swing and bed mattress, all can not be used safely for them again. This is overwhelming to say the least. Immediate needs are for 3-6 mo boy cloths and 3T girl clothing as wells as for themselves, socks, shoes etc. (they'll take hand me downs)they also need Food cards and of course money to rebuild their personal property.
