WELCOME TO THE SMILE HIGH CLUB!

OUR mission is simple... make kids SMILE!

                                     Seems easy right?

What if you are 10 years old... been battling cancer for half your life... chemotherapy has ravaged your body... you lost your hair and your everyday life consists of regular hospital visits where you are painfully poked and prodded... you are scared and tired!

NOW what if we can make you SMILE?

More than that, what if we can take your mind off the struggles you so bravely fight, and give you something ELSE to think about, talk about and experience?

That is what the Smile High Club does! We make you fly like a superhero! And, you get video footage to watch and cherish forever.

TELL ME MORE....

The Smile High Club's  mission is to make kids smile by helping them experience flight.

We set up a computerized flying system, the same system that has flown the likes of: Kate Beckinsale, Hugh Jackman, Michael Fassbender, Halle Berry, Robert Downey Jr., Benedict Cumberbatch, etc. Kids are flown on a bellyboard, where they are free to act out their favorite superheroes or just enjoy the ride!

If a child is unable to lie on a bellyboard, we can pick them up right in their wheelchair! We want every able little warrior to enjoy the power of flight!

They will fly approximately 100' across a given location, at around 4' high. We start them slow and increase the fun according to their comfort level.

Why are we raising money?

The Smile High Club is asking you to support us as we take off! We are raising funds to help offset the cost of our first event. We thank you in advance for your love and support!

An update on our progress:

Meet Jim Churchman:

My name is Jim Churchman, creator of the Smile High Club. My 25-year career as a Stunt Coordinator includes some of Hollywood's biggest blockbuster superhero movies where I specialized in making performers fly.

The crew is some of the most skilled and compassionate people on the planet. We have traveled the world together, fought through low moments, bonded during high moments, and forged friendships for life. When I told them what I want to do - every single one jumped at the opportunity to spread some love through our craft.

Why am I doing this?

For me, my Grandfather died of cancer when I was 13. He was a driving force of the person I would become. My mother died of Leukemia when I was 23. Several members of the stunt community have lost battles with various forms of cancer. . Now, my step mother is having her third round of Chemotherapy and it is scary.

Recently it struck close to home for me. At just 27 years of age, Trevor Habberstad was diagnosed with a rare form of stomach cancer. He had accomplished amazing things, and was just scratching the surface of where he would go.

So, I started thinking about children who have to endure these treatments every day. They do not deserve the cards they have been dealt! Yet they battle on! If I can give them something to look forward to, put a smile on their face for even a moment, I have to do it!
