For many widows in Obo Kwahu, Ghana, the festive season is not filled with joy but with loneliness and struggle. The loss of a partner often brings financial hardship, isolation, and the heavy burden of providing for their families alone. During Christmas—a time meant for celebration and togetherness—many of these women are left without support, unable to experience the warmth of the season.

This touched our hearts deeply. No one should feel forgotten at Christmas. That’s why The Anglican Church (OBO) and Empower a Woman Ministries have come together to organise Smile Gifts Ghana. With your help, we aim to provide these widows with food parcels, prayers, and uplifting music to remind them they are not alone.
