The Santa Monica Girls Fastpitch (SMGF) 12U Gold All-Star team has qualified for the Western Nationals tournament in Portland, Oregon! This once in a lifetime tournament will be held July 31st - August 6th! These talented, dedicated, hard working young ladies need your support! The trip from Los Angeles to Portland is quite expensive. Plane tickets on average cost $330 per person and the hotel stay for a week will cost approximately $1400 per family. This doesn't include car rentals, meals and other incidentals!
Please help our team make this special trip! These girls have been practicing 4 days a week since May 9th! They have competed in 8 tournaments (with a total of 37 games). These girls have woken up at 5am and battled on the softball field until 11pm! They are passionate about the sport they love. A wonderful group of girls that need your help!
They finished 1st place in the Moorpark Tournament. The finished 2nd place in the Torrance, San Dieguito, Fountain Valley and LA South Bay B Districts tournaments. This past weekend they finished 7th at States in Lancaster. They can go far at Nationals!!!!
