Smbat's way out of silence

When you look at this little curly boy, a nice smile comes to your face. He is so cute and nice, has so much positive energy in him that you will never guess how much he suffered and continues to suffer. Little Smbat, who is now 3 years old, is completely deaf and never heard his Mom’s voice, enjoying his Mom’s lullabies when he was put to bed. As he never learned how to speak he cannot communicate neither with his family nor with other children when he plays in the park with them. He is not dancing when there is nice music. He is not understood and accepted in society.
When the young parents of this curly cute boy got the horrible diagnosis of Smbat being deaf they were shocked and started to look for support for their “bundle of joy” to get access to hearing.
My Armenian friend and I decided to support Smbat's family to afford a Cochlear Implantation (CI) which would enable Smbat to enter the world of hearing.
Unfortunately only the CI treatment costs around 19,000 (nineteen thousand) EURO and this amount is astronomically high for the family who is hardly making both ends meet. Fortunately we have already raised 4000 (four thousand) EURO so we are asking for your support in raising another 15000 (fifteen thousand) EURO.
Smbat lives with his parents, sister and grandparents in Yerevan, Armenia. Only his Dad works and tries his best to maintain the family. Smbat's Mom cares about him all day long, because he does not go to a kindergarten as without hearing it is almost impossible.
Especially my Armenian friend loves this family very much and we both want to help them. We hope that you will not stay indifferent and will help Smbat as well to hear. Each cent donated to him matters and can change his world and take him to the world of sounds. He will be prevented from being separated from his peers and will be able to go to a kindergarten and lateron to a mainstream school, giving him the opportunity to be fully integrated into society.
All children at this age like talking so much. Let's help Smbat to become one of them and be able «to bother» his Mom and Dad with 5,000 questions per day.
This is now the most important dream the family has.
