Smarz Family Fire

On the morning of the last day of 2017, my Aunt & Uncle, Betty & Bill Smarz were awoken by their daughter Cynthia to a fire in their home in West Ft. Worth, Texas. They got out just in time. Thankfully, both of them, Cindy and their dog, Logan just got out with what they were wearing. The house was a total loss because of fire and smoke damage. They both have existing health problems, so this is extra hard on them.
Fortunately, they have insurance to help them get back their home, but in the meantime, they are staying in a hotel in the Ft. Worth area and have many big ticket expenses such as clothes, food, and their lodging just to help them get a bit of normalcy back in their lives.
They lost their son Fritz to a suddent heart attack a few years ago, so life has never been the same for them. But they just celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on January 10th. We would love to help them out and let them know the support of the community. Please help our family raise $12,000 to help Betty and "Red" Smarz, along with their daughter Cindy, get back on their feet.
