On October 27th, I will compete in the Beast Spartan race in Dallas, Texas on behalf of The Small Heroes Foundation.
Small Heroes was started by our dear friends the Small Family. William and Alison have three beautiful boys and recently discovered their two younger sons, Hunter aged 3 and Noah aged 2, have been diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy is a progressive, incurable, fatal disease of the muscle. Most boys with the disorder are wheelchair bound by age 12 and lose their life in their 20’s. Those affected are truly in a race against time.
The Small Heroes Foundation is committed to finding a cure for Duchenne through helping to fund clinical trials and providing support for those suffering from this disease.
