<div>We’re a group of teachers and staff from St John Vianney Catholic Primary School (SJV) in North London, and we’re taking on the Big Half 2025 - 13.1 miles through the heart of London. But this isn’t just about fitness or fun (though we’re hoping for both!). We’re running to raise funds for a cause that’s incredibly close to our hearts: the Kiyan Prince Foundation.

<div>Who We’re Running For
</div>
<div>The Kiyan Prince Foundation (KPF) was founded by Dr. Mark Prince OBE in memory of his son, Kiyan, a talented footballer and kind-hearted young man whose life was tragically cut short due to knife crime. Since then, KPF has been on a powerful mission: to save lives by inspiring young people to realise their true potential.

<div>They work directly with schools and communities across London and the UK, offering:

<div>Life-changing mentoring and coaching programmes
</div>

<div>Workshops focused on mental resilience, personal responsibility, and positive choices

<div>Strong messaging around anti-violence and knife crime prevention

<div>Support for young people who are often overlooked or vulnerable

<div>As educators, we know how vital this kind of work is and we’ve seen first-hand how important it is for children to feel safe, valued, and empowered.

<div>As part of our Big Half journey, our team will also be:

<div> Taking part in a boxing session with Mark Prince, learning discipline, strength, and focus from someone who has turned unimaginable grief into inspiration.
</div>
<div>⚽ Attending a QPR football match together—honouring Kiyan’s passion for the game and supporting the club that has done so much to keep his legacy alive.
</div>

<div>These moments are about more than team bonding—they’re helping us connect more deeply with the values KPF stands for, and share that message with our school and local community.
