To our MODA family,
We are humbled at the outpouring of support, and the number of people asking what they can do to help during this time. Go Fund Me has come up with The Small Business Relief Initiative to help small businesses that have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and empower their communities to rally behind them. Go Fund Me, Yelp, and Intuit/QuickBooks have donated to the Small Business Relief Fund. The Small Business relief Fund will be issuing $500 matching grants to qualifying businesses that raise at least $500 through Go Fund Me.
Unfortunately, the landlord of our building is not willing to offer any assistance or help for us at this time. This fund will go towards our rent and utilities. All of our stylists and estheticians are independent contractors that pay monthly for their space. This will help ease the burden on the salon as a whole, but also help the girls that are currently unable to work and pay their monthly booth rental. Being sole proprietors, there just isn’t help available for us at this time. We know that this crisis is financially effecting many of you as well, and we will do our best to give back in any way that we can. But for those of you asking how you can help, this would be a great platform. Some stylists will also be accepting prepayment for your next appointment, if that is something you are interested in doing. That will be solely to help that individual person during this time we are unable to work. This page, however, will be to keep the business as a whole to stay up and running.
Again, we are so grateful for all of the support! I’ve said it many times, our clients are our family! We can’t wait to be working again and to see all of you!
Sincerely, your MODA crew ❤️❤️
