Slip and fall

On September 19 at approximately 6am I slipped and fell on Market Street in San Francisco.  I was unable to get a hand/arm under me and landed directly on my shoulder. I broke the ball of the ball and socket joint into 3 pieces.  I had surgery on Friday September 20 to put in a plate and 8 screws. Luckily I had insurance,  however,  I don't have money to pay my rent. I'm currently out of work on a disability leave of absence until at least October 15.  Since I had recently switched jobs, I haven't started accumulating vacation and sick time. I have applied for both disability and SNAP benefits but haven't heard back from them yet. 
I'm not looking to get rich. I just want some help getting back on my feet
