On Wednesday April 2nd, 2025 I received the worst news.. My dad was found dead at home alone. I’m completely shocked and don’t know how to begin sharing his story or explaining what happened. My dad was fairly young and refused to believe he was old. He loved life and loved me. He could be grumpy at times, but he had a big kid’s heart, just like me. Time is fleeting and life is short. I’ll always wonder about the “what ifs,” “should haves,” and “could haves.” Despite the choices he made and the people he pushed away, my dad deserves love, respect, and compassion. Even though he passed away alone, I’m asking everyone and anyone who knew him and those who didn't know him to be there for me as well as my family during this very difficult time.
