Sleep for Cancer Patients

Donation protected
11 Years ago my wife died from breast cancer.

Colon cancer hit me in February 2017. I have been through 14 chemotherapy sessions at Kaiser and now I face another 9 rounds of oral chemo.

I am not asking for your help for me. I am asking for financial help to make life a lot easier for other cancer patients by sharing an invention developed during my battle.

A lot of the chemotherapy sessions include a small, low pressure tank with an active agent which is dispensed over the 40 – 48 hours after the chemo session. It can be worn on a belt or clipped to your clothing. But where do you put this tank when you go to bed?

Sleep is important for all of us but it carries more weight for cancer patients. The difficulty sleeping with your “buddy” (the canister) next to you can be eliminated. I have developed (through my own use) a simple, safe way to keep it out of the way.

This device could be used today!

The developmental and legalization costs for distribution of this device will be very small in comparison to the benefits for cancer patients.

The patent research/registration requires a functional model $1200 + $600
Knowledgeable/Targeted release of device information $5500
Direct distribution to Home Health Care industry $4000
Total Estimate $11,300

This device made it MUCH easier for me to sleep. I appreciate your help to make this available to others.

If your generosity exceeds the cost to develop this product, I will use the excess funding to donate units to those who cannot afford them.

Thank You!
