On November 5th 2017, a gunman opened fire at First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, Texas, during Sunday service. At least 26 people were killed, 10 of whom were family members of Rocky and Sarah Slavin (maiden name Holcombe).
This GoFundMe is being put together specifically for Rocky and his family, who lost half of their large family from the Texas Church shooting.

Rocky's father in-law Bryan (center) was the guest speaker at church that day; Rocky, Sarah, and their daughter were running late. Sarah has lost her father, mother, brother, sister-in-law (who was pregnant), four nieces and nephews, and her best friend since childhood, Tara.
Any and all contributions are greatly appreciated. Rocky and Sarah will be the only ones with access to these funds and will use them to help them with the funeral expenses and other ongoing grief / recovery support costs.
Who am I: My name is Kimberly Ward and I am a co-worker of Dr. Slavin at the University of Texas at San Antonio Department of Computer Science. We as a department wanted to put together a GoFundMe specifically for his family.
