Hello Friends & Fans of Slaves Wage!
We are happy to let you know that we have just about finished writing new songs for a new CD and are currently saving our pennies to cover the cost of production and other related expenses...
But...this time around...we're asking for your help to do it!
Our most recent CD release, WISDOM'S CALL - after recording, editing, mixing, mastering, paying the graphic artist for his design work on a 16 page CD insert and other CD related art, as well as his work on logos, posters, a band photo shoot, web design and not to mention the cost of duplication of CD's and distribution services - cost somewhere between $8,000 to $10,000 after it was all said and done...and I'm sure I left out some things!
Your donation will help pay for the production of the new CD and other related expenses in the following ways:
- recording
- editing
- mixing
- mastering
- CD artwork
- duplication
- photo shoot
- new merchandise
- music video (1)
- lyric video (2)
- new web design for www.slaveswage.net
So that you are aware of our plan of attack each of us as band members have committed to contribute $2000.00 of our own money to this endeavor, bringing the budget sub-total to $8000.00. We also will be using the moneys which are in our band account, which we hope to have up to $2000.00 by August 2019, to bring the budget sub-total up to $10,000.00. And finally, we are asking for your help in this endeavor in the hopes of raising another $2000.00, bringing the total budget up to $12,000.00, which we feel will be more than enough to accomplish all that God has put in our hearts to do for Him as it concerns this endeavor at this time. Any excess, after all expenses are paid in regards to the production of the new CD and related expenses, will go towards paying off our brand new trailer, which we purchased in July of 2018.
The plan currently is to begin recording in August 2019 with a release date for the new CD of December 1st, 2019, giving us seven months to raise the necessary funds.
