Slade Russell Memorial Fund
Donation protected
We are devastated by the loss of Slade Russell (38) of Ozark, Missouri. In the early morning hours of December 15th, 2020 we were awoken by a State Trooper delivering the news that our Slade, a devoted father, brother and son lost his life in a tragic car accident, while performing an act of kindness driving an individual home. He continued to perform good deeds even after his death by being an organ donor.
He leaves behind a heartbroken family including two sons Elan age 14, and Jace, age 2.
Like everyone Slade had his struggles and he was working hard to become a better man devoted to doing the right thing. He realized towards the end that it is family and the memories made with the ones you love, not possessions that matter in this life.
He proved that if given a second chance in life a person can grow wings and raise those around them by gifting true acts of kindness. Once a person has hit rock bottom they judge a little less, listen a little more and love with an infectious light that brightens even the darkest heart.
Holidays will never be the same. So if you can’t donate we ask that instead you hug your family a little tighter, laugh a little harder, love a little brighter, smile a little more and never take for granted the opportunity to tell someone you love them.
It is with a heavy heart that we ask for support from not only those he helped but from anyone who has ever regretted not giving someone a second chance. The funds will be used to cover the funeral costs, memorial for Slade as well as provide support for his two sons including a college fund.
We sincerely want to thank you all, each and everyone of you, from the bottom of our hearts for your condolences, contributions, and donations.
If you'd prefer to donate directly, you can send it to Venmo to @Arianna-russell1
