<div>Sinds september 2025 heb ik in Bellingwolde, omgeven door Nederlandse en Duitse windmolens, elke nacht geluidsmetingen uitgevoerd en gelijktijdig mijn slaap geanalyseerd met slaaptrackers als de gerenommeerde Oura smartring. Eind maart ben ik naar de Ardennen gegaan om daar het geluid en mijn slaap te vergelijken met mijn meetgegevens uit Bellingwolde. Terwijl het gemiddelde van 90 nachten slaap in Bellingwolde 56 minuten was, bereikte ik tijdens 3 nachten in de Mirador hut een gemiddelde van 90 minuten, en terwijl het record in Bellingwolde 92 minuten was geweest (met op de tweede plaats 84 minuten), verbrak ik dit de eerste nacht in de Mirador hut met de spectaculaire score van 105 minuten (met op de tweede plaats 87 minuten).

<div>Mijn doel is nu om naar de Ardennen terug te keren voor een langer verblijf met betere apparatuur. Lange-termijn doel is er een professioneel slaaplaboratorium te vestigen.

<div>Steun dit project als je net als mij wilt weten wat de invloed is van laagfrequent wind op de hersengolven van de diepe slaap, en op de werking van het glymfatisch systeem dat 's nachts onze hersenen reinigt.

<div>Als mijn hypothese klopt, en via dit project bewezen wordt, dan zal dit verstrekkende gevolgen hebben voor de windindustrie, de klimaatpolitiek, en de gezondheid van mens en dier.
