Skylarke’s Cancer Treatment

This week my sweet little 8 year old female husky Skylarke went to see a specialist veterinarian.  She has been struggling with her seasonal allergies this year more so than previous years. Her runny nose started turning into bloody noses and she started coughing from post nasal drip. Her eyes started getting watery and goopy and she also started having reverse sneezing fits that would last for hours. Her primary vet referred us to a specialist after trying antibiotics to rule out sinusitis and any kind of bacterial infection.  Also, because of the constant sneezing and reverse sneezing she strained her neck and is on medicine to help the muscles relax  We went to the specialist under the impression that her allergies had set into a deep sinus infection or possible fungal infection. On the way into the specialist the tech caught her foot in the door and ripped one of her back toenails completely off, so she went home in bandages and limping . The specialist then called us since covid and you can’t go in, and then the specialist told us that all of her ongoing issues with her sinus and allergies is nasal cancer.  I was almost in disbelief. My baby that is literally the sweetest dog does not deserve a diagnosis of this magnitude.  I am trying to do everything I can to take care of her during this time.  I have maxed out care credit with her last couple visits, exhausted my savings account and borrowed as much money as I can from friends/family.  I am still over 5k short financially for the extensive blood work, rhinoscopy, biopsy, CT scan with measurements, medications and sedation she will need for each procedure.  I feel like I have no other options to help her get healthy again and have a good quality of life. She still has so many years ahead of her. If anyone can help at all, anything would help.  Thank you all so much, and thank you to everyone who has helped in finding solutions.
