Skydive for Aoibheann’s Pink Tie

At the end of this summer I’m going to be doing a skydive to raise funds for a chosen charity. As many already know, a charity close to my heart is Aoibheann’s Pink Tie. Aoibheann’s Pink Tie, for those that don’t know, are a small charity who help families of children battling cancer both practically and financially. Jimmy and his team recognise that when a child is diagnosed with cancer, it is not only the child that suffers, but the whole family too. The help that Aoibheann’s Pink Tie give to families helps to alleviate any additional financial, practical and emotional stresses associated with their battle.

During my own treatment for Leukaemia, I received multiple care packages and gifts from Jimmy and his team. Their gifts were always personal and extremely thoughtful, always managing to lift my spirits, especially during the tougher times. They provided emotional support and advice to my family when they needed it most.

Because of this and more, I am aiming to raise as much money as possible so that they can continue to provide this important support to the families who need it. I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you on behalf of myself, my family and the thousands of families that they have helped to Aoibheann’s Pink Tie. Many of us would not be here without your help.
