A few days ago we received the terrible news that our dear friend, Nelson passed away unexpectedly. It's not everyday that you meet someone like Nelson. Many of us met Nelson at Hubbard High School and got to know the sweet and genuine guy that he was. His tenacity for all things nerdy, his witty quips, and warm and genuine demeanor left a mark on those of us that crossed his path.
Losing someone at a young age is never easy. His sudden and senseless passing has caught everyone by surprise and we are all struggling to cope with his loss. However, those of us that knew him will always keep him alive in our memories.
Due to the unexpected nature of his passing, we wish to ease some of the difficulties that the Chavez family is facing during these times by helping to cover any expenses that have arisen. While we are still waiting for more information regarding his funeral services, we kindly reach out to you and invite you to contribute in any way that you can. Any contributions will be greatly appreciated and will go directly to covering the cost of his funeral expenses.
