Help Emilia Recover

Hi all, I have been debating making this for a while, I am much better at asking for help when it comes to others than I am with myself. As many of you will know my mother has been very sick this year, we almost lost her a number of times. She is thankfully doing much better now but still has a long way to go before she is fully functioning again. It took 9 long months but we finally got a diagnosis, Mold poisoning. We caught it just in time but the road back will be a long one.

As my mother slowly started to gain ground in her health I started losing some. I have dealt with Chronic Neurological Lyme for over a decade now, and over the last year, I have rapidly developed Endometriosis as well. I managed to hold myself together for the most part until my mother was functioning well enough for daily tasks and then my mental and physical health plummeted. With the stress of the year, no space to mentally process it all, and my health failing me, I hit bottom. The pain I have been in is like no other, for a week out of the month I can barely walk. For the rest of the month, I am in a decent amount of pain but at random times with varying intensity. After many weeks of feeling hopeless, not being able to work in the new profession that I worked so hard to learn, I finally found help. He was one of the Doctors trying to help treat my mom with little success, when he heard about what I have been struggling with he immediately told me to make an appointment because this, this he could help.

I am incredibly grateful to be able to say, I think he can. The issue I am running into now is I cannot afford the treatments, medications, and diet he is prescribing, not to mention my regular medications. My unemployment was just getting me by paying my bills, it wasn’t allowing for anything extra like medical care. Now my unemployment has run out as it has for many. I don’t know what to do and honestly, I am scared. I hate having to ask people to support me while offering nothing in return, but I don’t have much of a choice. I have looked into all my options and without the ability to work in my current condition I am out of options. I am hopeful in January things will get a bit better on the unemployment front and I will be able to afford the care I need to get better that way and finally get to work but until then I am in a really tight spot trying to just survive let alone recover.

Thank you for taking the time to read this, anything helps, sharing, donating, sending love. I know times are tough for a lot of people right now, hopefully, we can all start healing and doing better in the year to come.

Happy Holidays Everyone,

Thank you, again.

I want to add my PayPal and Venmo if that’s preferred or easier for folks. It also won’t take any of the money like GoFundMe does.
