Christian Skotte Healing Fund

Christian Skotte, husband to Molly Galvin, father to 8 month old Larkin, and friend to so many was diagonsed with a colonic tumor on Monday, March 19 - two days after being told by his doctor to go to the emergency room because tests showed he was severely anemic. The cancer seems to have been caught early. Docs operated quickly, and we're still waiting on all the details, but, they are cautiously optimistic about the path forward. If you don't know Christian (aka Skooter), he is one of the funniest, hardest working, passionate, intelligent and deeply connected New Yorkers I know. He's not afraid to engage in deep philosophical or political conversation and is a committed father and husband.

Molly and Christian have been on the road of life together for a long time and this part of the journey was definitely not budgeted for. Just 8 months ago, they welcomed Larkin Irene into the world. Her birth was followed by an emergency life-saving surgery for Molly - and, of course, big medical bills. If you give, monetary donations will help cover things like: insanely high priced medical bills, loss of wages for the recovery period, transportation to and from doctor appointments, copays, babysitting costs, and no doubt, many other unanticipated costs that will come along with this unexpected detour on the Skotte-Galvin family journey.
