WHAT WE HAVE & WHAT WE NEED What you've seen is the trailer for SKOOKUM! That's where we started.
With SKOOKUM's script and trailer, we were able to attract talent such as: Paul Logan star of the upcoming/multimillion dollar horror-feature Code Red, Ashton Leigh of the Louisiana Horror Swamp Shark, and Shane Dzicek from Surrogates starring Bruce Willis!
Now we need your help! Everyone has chipped in to make this film, we have multiple investors! Our home base, the town of Oil City has provided us with thousands of dollars of goods and services, everything from the cranes to food to alligator wrestlers! Cast and crew are taking pay cuts and sometimes working for completely free!

SKOOKUM's PLOT An old nightmare returns to haunt the orphaned Anna and Megan Rock; their parents killer is out there, hiding, stalking, planning...
Anna (Dianna Renèe) is television celebrity.
Megan (Swamp Shark) is a Big Foot investigator who's never given up the hunt for her parent's killer.
When Megan disappears during the filming of a Bigfoot documentary, Anna returns to her antiquated home town to find her wayward sister.
Only something's wrong; people are dying, cattle are being torn open, and no one will talk even Megan's old flame (Shane Dzicek)...
Anna enlists Gator a Cajun swamp guide (Paul Logan); a Native American shaman; and, reluctantly, her ex-boyfriend and his father (Dr. Jeffrey Meldrum), two of the most respected Bigfoot research scientists.
Under Gator's guidance, they enter the deadly Louisiana swamps... As time goes by the group beings to fall apart, until Anna alone, searches the swamps, with only the fading light of her cell phone to guide her in her search for a killer...

Jack Skyyler won 2 "Best Director" awards and a REMI on his indie sports drama Hitting the Wall which was shot for only $9,000! Now SKOOKUM already has pending deals with a nation-wide chain of theaters!

WHAT YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS CAN DO SKOOKUM just needs $9,500 to make sure we get the film done correctly.
At the climax of the SKOOKUM, Anna will be lost searching through the swamps with only the light of her cellphone. She'll be finding the dead bodies of other members of the group and hearing her sister Megan's desperate screams for help! It's an amazing scene, but oddly enough night shots require the most lighting equipment! So to shoot this the way we need to shoot it, we need your help!
Also in the alligator attack scene, we want our alligator to jerk our stuntman down underneath the water, and we need to rent and underwater camera to follow the struggle down into the water where our hero is struggling for air, fighting back against the alligator, ultimately stabbing the alligator to death while the water around the camera fills with dark blood. *Note, this scene will be done with professional stuntman; and no alligators or people will be hurt in the making of this scene; but with your help, no cameras will be hurt either!
SKOOKUM also needs money for post-production. 90% of a good scare is a great sound track; and unfortunately, a great soundtrack costs money. SKOOKUM is a great film with an old fashioned style of horror. We're not going to terrify you with a monster on screen; but with the monster that moves through the shadows and tree branches. SKOOKUM is a film like Jaws! But like in Jaws, occasionally our monster will have to surface, tear the door off a moving truck and throw the passengers out into the darkness; and those special effects are awesome, but they aren't as cheap as we'd hope.
So we need your help! These are just a few examples of why SKOOKUM needs this additional $9,500! Scene after scene will be so much bigger and so much better with your help! So join us and let's make SKOOKUM!

From the beginning people like Dr. Jeffrey Meldrum, Chevy White, Shanda Lee Munson, and Rob Gaudet were working to develop SKOOKUM into the film we see today!
Dr. Jeffrey Meldrum is a world renown cryptozoologist, consider the foremost expert on bigfoot! Dr. Jeffrey Meldrum has assisted Debi King-McMartin in the writing of the script to make SKOOKUM not just another monster movie but a true bigfoot film!
Chevy White, Shanda Lee Munson, and Rob Gaudet, executive producers for SKOOKUM, worked to put together the great team that SKOOKUM has today!
