Skinny Dudes Teaching Garden

Donation protected
The tall skinny dude was constantly curious. He was always learning and pleased to teach what he learned. He left us way too soon. So many people have expressed concern and love for my husband. As people reached out, the idea to build a native teaching garden got clearer in my vision. I contacted Dave Martinez who is very connected to Pacifica and the Master Gardeners to see if he had any ideas. We have come up with  a native specimen garden with habitat for pollinators and beneficial insects. The garden will be located in a parking strip in Oddstead Park which houses the Spindrift Theater and the Spindrift Theater School.

We need supplies and muscle and brains. This GoFundMe site is to get the supplies. We need cardboard, plants, and a boulder. Perhaps even a bench. All are welcome to contribute at any level-and to pass the word on to others who may want to contribute.

We'd like to start work on March 24 with cardboard and mulch. We hope to plant on April 14 and dedicate on 4/20 between 4 and 5 pm!

If you want to contribute in another way, Please contact Dave Martinez.

Thanks in advance to everyone!
