Skhumbuzo Daniel Khamanga Fund

It's no secret that Daniel is a tad bit vertically challenged. Turns out there's a pretty solid reason for this, other than some pretty fantastic genes from his parents. Daniel recently found out that he has osteocancer. To put it simply, rather than putting its energy into growing taller, Daniel's body has focused more on growing these calcified tumors throughout itself. After Dan went to the doctor for a regular checkup, pointing out what he thought was a dislocated bone, doctors removed a tennis ball sized growth from his pelvis that turned out to be malignant. The other tumors found in the MRIs are benign for the time being. So for now, after recovering from tennis ball removal surgery, Daniel receives monthly X-rays and blood tests to monitor his body's activities. I know that asking for help is not easy. In fact it's not even easy for me to ask on behalf of a very dear friend. I also know that many of you know and love Daniel, and those of you who don't know him have most likely been affected by cancer in some way or another. So I've set up this page as a receptacle for donations of good thoughts, prayers, or money, all of which are appreciated!
