Skate Jatra, one and only International skate competition owns reputation as multi-disciplinary skate and action sports festival in Nepal. Neither of any sports can bring so many variable disciplines in one festival. Skate and Jatra means a festival in Nepalese culture, here we define festival of different action sports which is organized from 2017.Its first event was held in Satdobato, Lalitpur, Kathmandu, Nepal. There’s a philosophy behind, it’s a third annual event. Skate Jatra was widely Kathmandu capital based competition at primary phase but now it has moved out nationwide since 2018, with an effort to take skate scene more hyped. Focusing on the development, attraction of children huge crowd and involvement of best athletes in festival has lead the skate jatra to famous cities of Nepal with different sub culture. In 2019 Jatra runs in three major cities Triveni, Lumbini and Butwal. Jatra expose the unique theme thus contest is grown on south Asia and is expanding.
