Kidney transplant

Hello world. 
My name is Sophia Anderson.  I am the mother to 3 wonderful young men.  Kaleb (22) Austin (16) and last but never least Braydon (13).  We live in Minot with our 2 cats that keep us in line. Miss Molly and the long haired cuddle bug RT. 
I have been diagnosed with IGA nephropathy. I have absolutely no kidney function and have been doing dialysis for 3 and a half years now. As of June 2019 I started driving from Minot to Bismarck 3 days a week to do dialysis.  It gets to be a long and expensive day to drive 2 hrs, sit for 4 hours and then drive back 2 more hours. Minot has a dialysis facility but it is full, the waiting list long, and Sanford Bismarck takes wonderful care of me. I have had ALOT of hiccups and complications from the start. Nothing with my body is ever easy. I am 100% dependent on hospital care. If it wasnt for dialysis I would literally be dead if it wasnt for modern medical advancements. Just seems I havent cought my break yet.  I pray that will change soon and we can all get back to our new normal and have a life again. I have recently had an amazing woman drop into my lap. She is so enthusiastic and positive that things will change, she is offering her time to help us out in many ways. She has experienced alot of things as her husband was once in my shoes.  I am very thankful and somewhat overwhelmed at the same time. With that being said, I will bore you no longer. If my story saves even one life, mine or otherwise it is 1000% worth every second. There are more people that die waiting for a transplant than their are people willing to donate. It is a crazy and expensive world we live in when modern medicine dictates our life. Thankyou all for reading and God bless you.
