Victor The Bermondsey Legend

Hi my name is Richard.

My uncle Victor Gardiner sadly passed away on Saturday 1st October 2022.

Us as a family want to give him the best send off we possibly can.

Victor grew up in Bermondsey and was so well known in his community especially round the blue, Rotherhithe and Surrey quays.

He was well known for his raspberry blowing, popping bags in McDonald’s, asking for a pound and a cuppa tea. Everybody loved Victor and we know so many still ask about him.

My Dad Richard (Dickie) and his Sister Doreen are planning the funeral with the lots of help of the family.

FA Albins & Sons in Bermondsey will be dealing with the funeral as they also knew Victor personally and have many memories of him.

Any donations will be going to the cost of Victors Funeral, this will be a great help for the siblings of Victor.
