My best friend Daniel Bonifácio’s father Rogério Bonifácio was diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer and we are fundraising to help Rogerio and his family.

Rogerio was diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer in July 2022, and suddenly was faced with chemotherapy and radiotherapy, over 28 sessions that unfortunately still led to total removal of his bowel.

Rogério official diagnosis was Adenocarcinoma; they found over 100 polyps but doctors at the time were hopeful that Rogerio was cleared.

Unfortunately, Roger is still battling the cancer in his liver and is still undergoing more chemotherapy treatment.

Rogério hasn’t worked for more than 12 months and financially his family has faced tremendous challenges as they stood by Rogerio.

Rogerio is now waiting for a surgery to remove the top of the liver before the cancer spreads.

Rogério and his family are very hopeful that this surgery and possible chemotherapy can improve his life since doctors have told him that this type of cancer is curable.
