My Grandma is Fighting for her Life

Donation protected

I never thought I would ever be asking people for financial help especially during a time of crisis. I've always been a big supporter of donations whether it's the smallest amount, it's very appreciated.

My grandma is 61 years old and is suffering from an unknown infection coming to her leg. She's in Mexico and at first, when she had gotten the infection we didn't think much of it, thinking she would be fine as she's had similar issues with her legs previously. Two weeks went by and it seems to have gotten worse as swelling started. My family in Mexico brought her to the hospital for diagnosis and there were no certain, definite symptoms that correlate to a certain illness. Days in the hospital, she was in critical condition for many days and was in a coma. From what we can get from the doctors it involved an infected chicken that peaked her leg the week she started to get ill. As of June 4, the doctors have informed us that she will need surgery from her legs to her gluteus and has shown minimal signs of improvement, but has regained consciousness. As of today, she's remained stable but still in critical condition. All we hope for is that this surgery that she will undergo will be successful. The hospital is charging around 200 dollars daily to keep her stable and providing all the medications and nutrients to her as of May 24 (the surgery being separated). The condition that she's in making it a 50/50 whether the surgery is successful. I pray that she goes through this and pulls forward for the people that love her. VAMOS ABUELITA!

I know many of you aren't as financially stable as you once were before the coronavirus outbreak, but if you're willing and want to help me and my family it will be highly appreciated. Any amount helps. I would never want a life to be lost because of a lack of financial income, it should never be that way. And that's why I came to create this GoFundMe to the people that would want to cooperate and help me during these difficult times. Thank you and I wish you all a great day!
