<div>Hello, my name is Luis, and I’m the proud father of three wonderful daughters. Together with my amazing wife, we’ve been fighting cancer for the past five years.

</div>

<div>Five years ago, I was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. After 12 rounds of chemotherapy and a major surgery, we were overjoyed to hear that things were improving. Sadly, earlier this year doctors found that the cancer had spread—to my brain and lungs.

<div>I’m from Arica, Chile, a beautiful coastal city, but my cancer treatment is available only in Santiago. Every 15 days, I must travel there by plane for chemotherapy and radiation. In early September, I suffered an intracranial hemorrhage that required an emergency air transfer and time in the ICU in both Arica and Santiago.

<div>Even with the love and support of family and friends, our medical costs have grown far beyond what we ever imagined. That’s why I’m asking for your help—to continue the treatment that gives me a chance to be here for my daughters and my wife.

<div>Hola, mi nombre es Luis, y soy el orgulloso padre de tres maravillosas hijas. Junto a mi increíble esposa, hemos estado luchando contra el cáncer durante los últimos cinco años.

<div>Hace cinco años me diagnosticaron cáncer de colon en etapa 4. Después de 12 sesiones de quimioterapia y una cirugía importante, estábamos felices al saber que todo iba mejorando. Lamentablemente, a comienzos de este año los médicos descubrieron que el cáncer se había extendido a mi cerebro y pulmones.

<div>Soy de Arica, Chile, una hermosa ciudad costera, pero mi tratamiento solo está disponible en Santiago. Cada 15 días debo viajar en avión hasta allá para recibir quimioterapia y radioterapia. En septiembre sufrí una hemorragia intracraneal que requirió un traslado aéreo de urgencia y varios días en la UCI tanto en Arica como en Santiago.

<div>A pesar del amor y apoyo de mi familia y amigos, los gastos médicos han superado todo lo que imaginábamos. Por eso recurro a ustedes, con mucha humildad, para pedir su ayuda y así poder continuar el tratamiento que me da la oportunidad de seguir presente en esta vida junto a mi esposa y mis hijas.
