Fresh Start Hygiene Drive 2015

Save Inmates Today, Inc. is focused on reducing recidivism rates throughout the state of Georgia. We need help in providing hygiene supplies to returning citizens who are already in the workforce or are about to be in the workforce for our annual Holiday Hygiene Drive. It is our goal to assist in reducing recidivism by assisting those in transition with hygiene supplies and valuable information to services that can meet their needs. Providing these hygiene items is a valuable service. Prisons and Transitional Centers do not provide half of the hygiene items we are collecting to the residents of their facilities. It is up to the family members to provide these items every month. SIT Program's goal is to provide these hygiene items to the returning citizens so they can maintain healthy habits while working in our community. This increases their chances of employment and health, but also alleviates the burden that is placed on the families around the holiday season. Please keep in mind that for the Holiday Hygiene Drive we cannot deliver items that contain alcohol, or that are glass or aerosol. We ask that you please only donate full size products as travel sized products often are a trigger for some causing dangerous relapse in alcohol or drug recovery. If you do wish to donate any make-up for the women's transitional center, we will accept natural colors only. Please no mirrors or exotic colors such as blues or purples. If you do wish to donate items that are prohibited such as glass or aerosol products, floss, or anything not listed below, we will accept them and distribute them to the local half-way houses and recovery centers in the community.
