I am Stephen Turner, Bay Area comic, actor, musician, and serial senior dog adopter (partial to Labradors and Goldens). I am putting on a comedy show to benefit dogs in need September 28th at Roosters in Sunnyvale. If you can't make it there, you can make a difference here! The show, entitled “Sit, Stay, Laugh” starring Joe Klocek, will benefit a two dog-related charities. The first of these is BirchBark, a Santa Cruz based charity that helps low income pet owners keep their pets when in the face of unexpected vet bills.

BirchBark Foundation

BY PROVIDING FINANCIAL RESOURCES FOR THOSE IN NEED AND EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES TO OUR COMMUNITY, BIRCHBARK FOUNDATION EMPOWERS PEOPLE TO MAKE INFORMED DECISIONS IN TIMES OF CRISIS AND TO BE BETTER ADVOCATES FOR THEIR PETS

Every contribution, big or small, makes a real impact. Imagine being able to say to someone who thinks they may have to give up their pet "No...not today!"
