On Wednesday 25 July, Sarah Doone was hit by a cement mixer truck on Old Street roundabout whilst cycling home from work. The truck ran over both of her legs and narrowly missed her head. Sarah's life was saved by the wonderful people at London's Air Ambulance.

Sarah has life changing injuries, she has, amongst other things, had her left leg amputated but the doctors have managed to save and have started to rebuild her right leg. Sarah is facing this trauma with huge bravery and determination and with a great deal of positivity, her doctors are saying what her friends and family all know about her - that she is truly exceptional.. Sarah will need countless operations and will need months of hospitalisation, rehabilitation and physiotherapy.

On Sunday 4 November, 3 5ft 3inch sisters will attempt to run the Richmond Half marathon in an effort to raise funds for Sarah. It will not be quick and it will certainly not be pretty but Tammi, Kirsty and Toni are determined to complete the circuit and fundraise for this wonderful and truly amazing person, Sarah Doone.

Please help in anyway you can to help with this fantastic cause - all money raised will go directly to Sarah to help her in her rehabilitation.
