We're back at it for another healthcare hero breakfast -- helping local restaurants provide fresh breakfast to 500 workers entering/exiting the 7AM shift change at Sisters Hospital in Buffalo. Restaurants have been struggling during these trying times, so let's raise money to compensate them for feeding the hardworking folks at Sisters Hospital!

The WNY community continues to support area restaurants and health care workers through daily meal donation dropoffs, but sometimes staff misses out in the early morning hours. Let's ensure everyone at the 7AM shift change leaves work with a fresh meal after a long shift, and that everyone starting work at that time begins their day with the energy to get them through.
Background story & why we're aiming for Round 2:
Back in April, a group of volunteers came together with area restaurants to provide a fresh breakfast to 500 Mercy Hospital workers as they entered/exited the 7AM shift change. The morning was such a success we decided to find other restaurants to help give back to another 500 healthcare heroes, this time at Sisters Hospital in Buffalo on Friday, June 26.
Restaurants in the Sisters Hospital area (listed above) graciously jumped at the opportunity to help with this effort, and our goal is to compensate them for each fresh meal they provide (all individually & pre-packaged to follow COVID-19 safety guidelines) in those early morning hours. Times have been tough for restaurants, so let's help them as they help Sisters Hospital workers.
The goal is to have 500 meals ready for workers to pick up as they exit/enter the hospital. We will pay each restaurant $10 per meal, bringing our fundraising goal to $5,000. We hope to raise an additional $500 for Tops gift cards and hand sanitizer for employees, along with covering GoFundMe transaction fees.
