In Loving Memory Of Sister Vina Mae Cole

Donation protected
Sadly, my beautiful grandmother  Sister Vina Mae Cole passed Saturday July 13th at about 2 p.m.  Being diagnosed with early onset dementia and an inoperable cancer, her physician advised her to move to Georgia to be with my mom.

My mom and I are now faced with the financial difficulty of returning her to Denver, Colorado by the 2nd week of August 2019. This give us roughly 3 weeks to raise the funds.  Her final earthly resting place is Fort Logan National Cemetery where Papa, the love of her life and husband, TSgt. Morris Cole, Jr.,  awaits his faithful bride of 29 years and 33 more faithful years after his passing in August 1986. There just wasn't  another for her.

I know times are difficult  for everyone right now but anything  you can give to help Amomma return to Colorado would be humbly and thankfully appreciated. There is simply  no donation too small.

My grandmother was both loving and fun-loving. We always found ourselves laughing around her and melancholy when we had to leave her presence. She was a  supportive person with a warm spirit. This is most evident  by the two affectionate names  that she was known by from her 7 grandchildren and now her hosts of great grandchildren. From my uncle's children (her son) she was known first as "Frama" indicating she was a "Friend and mother". When her second set of grandchildren were born from my mom she was known as "Amomma" which meant "Another mother".

Oh we loved her so. She left us with a family prayer that we all recite before dinner. She left us with a humorous family honk that we all use when  leaving  a family event.

After a while during her life in Georgia, we could see that  Amomma's sunset was drawing near as she began her final bout with  cancer. She girded herself with the full armor of Christ until he called her home.

There is also a measure of  comfort in knowing that in her 83 years most every goal and most every dream she had was met.

Yet and still, I long for my  Amomma...just as my cousins long for her... just as her friends in Georgia, Colorado and other family members long for her.

From the family of five that my mom was born into, she finds that she is the only surviving member. Her big brother and little sister have gone on before her. If at all possible can you be a surrogate big brother and little sister and support her efforts in bringing my grandmother to her earthly resting area please?

Most sincerely,
