In an effort to support Breast Cancer Awareness this month, Chris Kilvington and I are joining forces to raise funds for an outstanding local organization, Sister Sister Breast Cancer Support Group, and we would love for you to join us! Sister Sister is a non-profit group that assists with the mental, spiritual and financial needs of women who have been diagnosed with Breast Cancer.
This cause holds a special place in our hearts as both our moms were impacted by this devastating disease. Fortunately our mothers had access to great resources and medical care and are cancer free today. Since Chris and I are personally aware of how deeply this illness affects the women in our lives; moms, aunts, sisters, cousins, and their family and friends, we want to raise money for Sister Sister to help more women win the battle and be Cancer Survivors!
Chris and I will attempt to play 100 or more holes of golf Tuesday, October 31st, between sunup and sundown. You can help by making a monetary pledge per hole we play or a general donation ~ every dollar counts! Raising money for such a wonderful organization such as Sister Sister is a way for us to give back to our community. We all know someone that has been touched by this wide spread illness so please help us make a difference!
