Sister & Family Lost Home in Fire

Hi, I'm Mary Hawkes andI live in Orange County, CA. My sister Susan just lost her home and everything in it in the Coffey Park/Santa Rosa fire. My other sister Terry Wilbert, niece and nephew Veronica and Aaron Lewis, and friend of the family Donny who also lived there have lost everything as well.

Susan lost her husband Vincent (my brother in-law) to cancer a few short months ago in July. He was the leader of their small family "pack". Now she's lost her home to a sudden and devastating fire. They had minutes to evacuate in the middle of the night and fled out of the house with their cats and the clothes on their back (pajamas and slippers).

Donations will be used to help them in the short term (finding an inexpensive car to replace my sister's car that had minimal insurance coverage, that you can see in the driveway on the before/after pic, and other essential items such as medications, clothing, shoes, and other related living expenses beyond what Red Cross can provide while they are displaced), and will also go towards rebuilding their home  when the time comes.

I've added my sister Susan as the beneficiary to all monetary gifts raised on this site, and she will have full acess to withdraw any amount at any time whenever she needs to. I'm sure she will post updates and thank you's when she does :-)

Please consider giving what you can, any amount will be of great help and no amount will be too small. As the smoke clears I will update with specific needs and where they can be sent as well.
